Horse/Pony/Foal Training

Whether you have a made horse or a young, green horse, our training program can help you accomplish your equestrian goals.

Philosophy

 Each horse is treated as though he/she were my own with the highest quality care and handling they could possible recieve. Horses are kept at their best receiving proper hands-on care, nutrition, and grooming on a daily basis.  Under our full care and training board, horses are ridden five days a week by a trained professional. With 16 years of experience, I have developed my own "tried and true" method of training that is very succesful in producing well-trained, high-quality english and western horses. I am available to come to your facility or you can trailer into mine.

Our expertise in education will start your green horse on a path of understanding.  Our experience will instill the finishing touches needed to refine your show horse’s competitive effort . We approach each horse with respect and recognize the individuality that humane training requires.

Training Program

Unlike most other trainers, I don't give my clients a set time frame for a horse's training completion. Every horse learns at a different rate and I don't believe in forcing a horse into something they aren't ready for. I believe in giving all horses a strong training foundation by earning their respect and developing a relationship with them before I ever get on their back.  All horses are evaluated prior to being accepted.

Training Rides

Training rides are also offered. Maybe we need to "clean up" the changes, start a youngster over fences, address a trailer loading issue, attend a first show, or prepare for a championship. In any case we will work together to design a plan which suits each horse.

Training Ride: $10 an hour + additional gas cost if I have to drive to your facility

Other Services

We offer showing services as your horse progresses and can assist in your horse's sale if that is the desired approach. Please see our consignment page for additional information.
